Official RSSB Rajasthan LDC Phase-II Exam Pattern & Guidelines
The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB / RSMSSB) conducts Phase-II (Computer Typing Speed & Efficiency Test) for the recruitment of Clerk Grade-II / Junior Assistant (कनिष्ठ सहायक). Phase-II carries a total of 100 Marks, contributing directly to the final merit ranking.

1. Official Evaluation Formula for Marks
Unlike qualifying tests that simply demand basic WPM, Rajasthan LDC marks are calculated directly based on correct words typed within the 10-minute window:
- Hindi Speed Test Formula:
Marks = Correct Words × 0.0625(A candidate typing 400 correct words secures the maximum 25/25 marks. A minimum of 144 correct words is needed to score 9 marks). - English Speed Test Formula:
Marks = Correct Words × 0.05(A candidate typing 500 correct words secures the maximum 25/25 marks. A minimum of 180 correct words is needed to score 9 marks).
2. Official Backspace (Word-Lock) Rule
In official RSSB test centers, candidates are permitted to use the Backspace key freely within the current word being typed. However, once the candidate presses the Spacebar to jump to the next word, the previous word is permanently locked and cannot be edited. Our simulator replicates this official rule by default.
3. Font and Keyboard Layout
For Hindi typing, candidates must practice in Kruti Dev 010 or DevLys 010 font using the standard typewriter Remington Gail layout. English typing is conducted on standard physical QWERTY keyboards with standard fonts.
